What made you become an entrepreneur?
Frank: The drive to make a tangible impact is what led me to entrepreneurship. With GRIT, I wanted to create a combined organization and platform that brings real change to people’s lives and careers. Entrepreneurship offers a unique chance to design a brand from the ground up, reflect one’s values, and continuously push boundaries. GRIT was born from a challenge based on a question from a Global client looking for a solution to manage slam locations beside prominent locations worldwide and to build something that inspires others to develop resilience and achieve more than they thought possible.
What is the most challenging part of running your own startup?
Frank: The most challenging part is prioritizing the many competing demands on time and resources. From managing day-to-day operations to shaping long-term strategy, the balancing act requires a lot of discipline and focus. At GRIT, we’re constantly optimizing processes and ensuring that we stay true to our mission while being agile enough to adapt as we grow.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced when looking for funding?
Frank: Finding the right investment partners has been a challenge, particularly for those who believe in our mission and bring value beyond capital. For GRIT, working with people who understand our commitment to resilience and share our long-term vision is crucial. Aligning with investors who add strategic value has been our critical focus in funding discussions.
What is the most rewarding aspect of entrepreneurship?
Frank: The most rewarding part is seeing GRIT's positive impact on our clients and team. Watching our clients overcome challenges and grow more vital is an immense sense of fulfilment. Building a company where people feel inspired, empowered, and part of something meaningful is incredibly satisfying. It’s also rewarding to know that we’re creating a legacy that fosters resilience and drives success for others.
